It is 3.50 am in the morning, and I'm still awake typing this post. Huu

Waaaait, 3.50 am means it's already 3 hours and 50 minutes we move into a new day, SUNDAY. Alhamdulillah, another days ahead :]

But but, I'm not so happy for today, because you know I'm going to facing a rather dull routine back in Pilah. No napping, no variety of delimarvellous foods, no hot shower in the morning, no time will be wasted in front of the lappy. (Sounds gedikqz! Sue me :P)

Assignments and tutorials are not fully done yet. Theres still a few that i left undone, GRR

I'm leaving Kuala Lumpur and heading to Kuala Pilah tomorrow morning, so see you dear Kerbaus Kambings Tahis.

Impromptu speech

So that day, the moment Miss Emy stepped into the class, she asked us

'What is impromptu speech?'

What is impromptu speech anyone? According to Encik google translate, impromptu is MENDADAK and speech is PIDATO. So impromptu speech is PIDATO MENDADAK, so funny. okay let's be serious. Haha

The task is, we were given 2 minutes to prepare our speech and the next 2 minute to speak up. We also have to listen to our friends speech and critic their's. OH NO (konon dah macam juri pro!)

These are the topics of speech that have been presented by my dearest classmates

1) Promote UiTM Kuala Pilah by Siti Nazihah

comment : She told us, she got lost on the first day of class last sem due to the hugeness of this Pilah, but i think our UiTM is the most comel one. Hehe. She mentioned about the green environment, and yes i totally agree with that. You can have a perfect picturesque view here in Pilah :)

2) Useful gadget by Adiba

comment : She explained too much about her handphone that is not really functional to her actually because the handphone doesnt beep for alarm at that morning, so as a result she come late to BEL class, hihi. But afterall, she claimed that she can't live without her handphone.

3) Encourage us to never give up by Am

comment : She said that we should believe in ourselves, and dont just simply give up. Yey like! Remember that there must be a rainbow after the rain, so after all the hardships, there are happiness :)

4) Early marriage by Hazwan

comment : He convinced us about the advantages of early marriage, and one of his point is 'It can change our attitude once we have the responsibility' AGREE MUCH :D

5) We are depending too much on technology by Jepun

comment : He just agree with the statement and doesn't gives any point about this topic. For me, yeah nowadays we are depending too much on them. Without those technology like handphone and computer i cannot imagine how our life would be.

6) Online shopping by Zalina

comment : Actually i cant hear what she was saying, but i know she had the experience in online shopping. Maybe she can elaborates more about the advantages or disadvantages of online shopping.

7) My style by Iman

comment : His style is kind of simple, and me likey. He told us what he usually wears on day and night. Just a pair of jeans, plain Tee and shorts bla3.

comment : His idol in football is Christiano Ronaldo. Wah, i dont have one because err i'm not a football freak -,-

comment : I cant understand what she was trying to say. Sorry Ain but good try. hehe. As for me, i love to eat. When i am craving for something, i like to google the foods i'm craving for. Haha. Currently craving for this;

comment : He agree that the sex education should be learn by the students in school, his speech is focus more on Biology, he talks about the development of babies, and so on.

comment : She likes to watch war movies because from that she get a few lesson that we are lucky enough to live in this peaceful country. I agree, somehow we have to look backward and see what our nenek moyang kita have did, and went through to survive until we reach the freedom.

War is everywhere and everyday in Iraq,

so we should be thankful we live in this peaceful country, Malaysia <3

12) Improve English by Ainil

comment : The easiest topic i think, and yes she comes out with the good points. Normally the ways to improve our english is by reading english newspaper, books. She also watch Malay dramas on TV that have english subtitle, good idea Ainil! While enjoying the drama, we can broaden our vocab right?

13) Promote patriotisme by Siti Murni

comment : Her speech was tooo short, i need more from you Murni. No point?

One of the way to promote patriotisme, PLKN.

14) Learning English in Maths and Science by Mariam

comment : From her point of view, she said that nowadays Malay student can read in English but cannot understand the meaning, so sad kan? But overall, i like the way you present to the class, so confident!

15) Social problem by Siti Hidayah

comment : The only thing i can hear from you is, the examples of social problem such as dumping babies, drug addict, alcoholism and so on. She added that we should advice each other in order to reduce the social problem.

16) Unity by Nazura

comment : She said that unity is very important to create a harmonic country. Her explaination is too little. You can explain more about how to create unity in this multiracial country and maybe can elaborates more about 1 Malaysia, perhaps? Hee.

17) Life without facebook byAfifah

comment : She can live without facebook. WOAH! :O For me, YES i can live a day without login to facebook due to lack of free times in the hostel.

The facebook account soon to be closed, is it a rumours or a fact Mark Zuckerberg?

18) Kids by Yasmin

comment : She really like kids. We must have the patience in taking care of them, because somehow they can be too excited and energetic. We have to know how to tackle them. I love kids too but I love babies more, COMEYL! :D

19) The elderly should live in old folks home by Wan Nur Malina

comment : Absolutely she didnt agree, Siapa yang sampai hati kan? We should show our responsible to them because they have take care of us eversince we were babies.

20) Overcome stress by Zikri

comment : 6 ways to overcome stress by Zikri is by exercise, always smile, think positive, listen to happy music, talk to the person we trust and the most effective one is SLEEP. If i am in a stress mode, i cant do anything except for sleep. After an hours of sleep, then i'll feel a bit relief.

21) Person you admire by Aqilah

comment : The criteria of the person she would admire are religious person, brave, cute and confident. But, she didnt tell us who is the person she admire. As for me, i admire person who is beauty with brain.

22) Favourite subject by Siti Hawa

comment : Unsuprisingly, her fav subject is English (kes mengampu kot :P) Hehe. No wonder she can speak ENglish fluently. If you ask me what is my fav subject, i love something that is related to calculating like Calculus or Chemistry.

23) Shopping by Lya

comment : Hee we love shopping. Like which girls dont huh? Haha. Shopping is the best theraphy for me, one of the way too to overcome stress

24) Current issue by Ain Suraya

comment : She suggest us to keep in track with the current news so that we dont feel left out with the things happened surround us. I think dumping babies is not-so current issues, but yet acceptable kot. Huhu.

25) Women now can stand the same level with men by Faizah

comment : Absolutely yes, dont underestimate the women JYEAH! :D Women now can be seen holding important positions in the organization.

26) Love at first sight by Maizaniza

comment : Everyone ever feel this right? We just simply love they way he talks, he smile, he dressed up everyting just by looking at their appearances. Her advice is 'Get to know the person first, before we fallen in love with him/her'

What topic did i get for the impromptu speech?

Okay my topic is Cosmestic Surgery. I've explained the points that i've jotted down, thanks to dear friends for the help! Hee. I conclude the speech by saying that we have to appreciate what we have and what Allah has gives to us, dont change that. You know the cosmetic surgery itself is 'salah disisi agama'. Then Miss Emy, correct me 'It's against the religion' Ok, noted. So, i've rated myself 5 and half over ten.

Over-change her look. Too much of cosmetic surgery are getting her face more worst.

sex education in school

Last Wednesday, before the BEL class ended, Miss Emy asked our opinion about sex education in school. And she want us to know what is sex education is all about and she also asked us to write an entry about this topic. So i've make a research from MR GOOGLE, and this is what i got.

So guys..what do you think about sex education in school? Can you imagine the children as young as six will be given sex education in Malaysian primary schools starting from this year, as part of a drive to curb 'baby-dumping', promiscuity and HIV? Is that relevant?

From my point of view, the very first thing that popped up in my mind was

'Perlu ke sex education diajar di sekolah, its about a thing that we sholud know by ourselves. Tak perlu nak sampai ade subjek kot T_T'

Uhh but now, at this age come to think of it, it is important for sex education to begin at young age so that they will recieve a better understanding of family values and how to protect themselves from high-risk behaviour.

Did you heard about a school for pregnant teenagers? It was first opened in Melaka. WOW Malaysia now has a school for preggy(s)! That's out of sudden when the issues of dumping babies had occur continously kan?

We hope that sex education can reduce this, pity the babies. They have the right to live in this world :(

Sex education is not only about the pathway of sex but also learning how to respect our bodies and one another. “if you love me, you will have sex with me” line cant be use at all and it is also against our religion. In the other hand, parents should not just leave it to the teachers to teach them but take it upon themselves (no matter how embarassing) to have frank discussions with their kids. Thats the way i think will be much effective right? After all they want the best for their kids and want to protect them in every possible way, don’t they?

They also need to know about these topics, and i am sure this three will be taught in the sex education module

Sexual development & reproduction - the physical and emotional changes associated with puberty and sexual reproduction, including fertilisation and conception, Same like what we have learnt during the school years in Biology subject.

Contraception & birth control - what contraceptives there are, how they work, how people use them, how they decide what to use or not, and how they can be obtained

Relationships - what kinds of relationships there are, love and commitment, marriage and partnership and the law relating to sexual behaviour. Dont simply trust anyone who might strange for you.

Have you think that if these three innocent kids learnt the sex education and know how to protect themselves, those heartbreaking tragedy will not be happened.

All classes have been started since the second week. Unfortunately, the timetable keep changing and i myself and the friends get confused on which one we have to follow, the new or the old one.

So, last Wednesday supposedly i have a class for BEL but, no one told me and friends that we have to use the new timetable, so we missed it! It was unintentionally absent i must say :) But i know this was completely my fault for not being alert, right?

Oh saya masih bersama Rumah 38 sem ni. In case you're wondering what is rumah 38 kan?Aras 3, Bilik 8. Housemate pun kekal bersama tapi malangnya seorang terpaksa dipisahkan ke blok lain.
